About Alpine-L:

Alpine-L was created to share and discuss information and experiences of growing Rock Garden Plants. It is a virtual Rock Garden Society. Its most important function is to facilitate discussions, which will include:

• Rock Garden Plant Taxonomy and Identification
• Discussion of taxons grown
• Cultivation techniques
• Events
• Scientific, biological and other issues related to alpines
• Sowing and other propagation techniques
• hybrids and hybridizing
• Anything of interest to rock gardeners
