- Opmerking: Uwe (2012-07-20) - Since 1974, this plant was grown with the name "Aechmea recurvata".
- Opmerking: Uncle Derek (2012-07-20) - Time to start butchering your plant to check the flower parts. As Teresia says it is close to A. pimenti-velosoi and her photos seem to agree with the plant we grow in Australia. I agree your plant does not look like A. recurvata. If I saw it in Australia or USA I would say A. recurvata hybrid. It is a pity you have no provenance (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
