Locality: Colombia - near Bogota -
Photographer: Guillermo Rivera (Sent: email@example.com)
- Note: Eric Gouda (2013-04-08) - One of those species close to Tillandsia fendleri (under study) (Sent: firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Identification: Walter Till (2013-04-08) =T. fendleri
- This is perhaps the true T. fendleri as similar plants with a monochromous inflorescence are found west of Caracas, not far from the type locality. I would not at all be surprised if T. bangii with red primariy bracts and axis and yellow spikes would be segragated again.
