Photographer: Jane Hendrix Note: Arnica parryi stands about 12 inches tall in the wild but grows to about 24 inches tall in the more fertile microclimate of my wildflower area. It produces only ray flowers. Not being fussy about soil, it will grow in hard, dry clay to moist loam, in sun or partial shade, and needs no care at all. It blooms in mid-July.
