Photographer: Jane Hendrix Note: Cortusa turkestanica (Alpine Bells) is a large-leaved species that thrives in my artificial bog garden in light shade. It's lovely, magenta bells are head high above the attractive foliage on sturdy stems reaching a height of 24 inches, if given plenty of moisture. It blooms in mid-July.
