Photographer: Jane Hendrix Note: About 3 years ago, a white variant of Lupinus argenteus appeared in my gravel path near the main road. Despite being scraped off at the surface every winter by our county snowplows, it continues to return, getting bigger and more floriferous with each passing year. This year the neighbors discovered a small colony of white-blooming L. argenteus on a nearby lot. Everyone who noticed it was amazed at the pure white blossoms.
