Photographer: Jane Hendrix Note: Desert Yellow Fleabane is very happy in my high-altitude Rocky Mountain garden. Although it's used to dry soil, it retains its gray-green, linear foliage and compact form in a moister, more fertile soil, attaining a height of about 10 inches and blooming in early to mid-July.
