2469 - Woodland (Wild) - 2010-04-07 (Dimension: 990 x 770 pixels - Counter: 4272) Houstonia procumbens Locality: Florida, USA - Suwannee River area of Florida, sandy loam soil on a mowed, steep hillside road cut that, though moist in March 2010 when the pictures were taken, probably dries severly in the summer. Because of the excellend drainage and its geneerally warm winters, the soil is unlikely to experience frost heaving.
