Trillium catesbyii

Note: This form of Trillium catesbyii holds its flowers well ABOVE the leaves. The flowers are quite large. This one is between 3 and 5 cm. The aspect on the plant is like that of T. grandiflorum, but pink instead of white. It is very diferent from the nodding flowers usually found in the species. (Sent: Trillium-l@science.uu.nl)
