TV olmosana var pachamamae ?
Photographer: Bruce Dunstan
Note: Widely cultivated in Australia but origin unknown (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
Identification:
- Note (10581): Eric Gouda (2012-11-29) - Any origin known of this plant? Could this be a hybrid, especially the petal color looks odd to me, because you get greens and blues, but not yellow and blue (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (10581): Bruce Dunstan (2012-11-29) - Widely cultivated in Australia but unknown origin (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (10581): Peter Tristram (2012-11-29) - Originally from Jeff K about 1980, then more from Knize and Krauspe (ex Knize I assume), all roughly the same plant species. V. pachamamae attached later by Derek, originally verified as olmosana by Harry and me. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (10581): Barry landau (2012-11-29) - I had one of these from Krauspe, circa 1987, but lost it in a cold snap. It was an excellent plant.
