Identification: Solved
- Identification (6415): Uwe (2011-02-25) =Tillandsia caliginosa
- Looks a bit like T. caliginosa. Check the abaxial (= outer) side of the sheaths: If they are glabrous and shiny green, it is likely to be that species. (Sent: bromelia-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (6415): Uncle Derek (2011-02-26) - In 1983 Werner Rauh described this as T. crocata var tristis. In 1984 it becameT. caliginosa. Didn't last long! (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
