Tillandsia piauiensis

(Uploaded as: Tillandsia chapeuensis??)
Photographer: Peter Tristram
Note: I got this as a seedling from Eric as T gardneri v rupicola a few yrs ago. It is similar to the 'Kralle' gardneri plant, about to be published as a separate species. Do you remember the seed source, Eric? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
Identification: Solved
- Identification (7664): Jan Maruska (2011-10-01) =Tillandsia gardneri var. rupicola
- Hi Peter, it looks to me like very nice compact form of T.gardneri var. rupicola. T.chapeuensis has more delicate leaves and more thin leaves, also longer, more narrow and more pointed leaves. Greetings from Jan. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Note (7664): Eric Gouda (2011-10-03) - It never flowered for me and I lost a few last year. It is very nice!
