Tillandsia streptocarpa
(Uploaded as: Tillandsia sp)
Locality: Brazil - Bahia -
Photographer: Oscar - Bromeliario Imperialis
Note: Appreciate assistance identifying this Tillandsia. Thanks. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
Identification:
- Note: Dutch Vandervort (2012-02-01) - I first suspected Reichenbachii but a google search indicates that species is endemic to Bolivia. As I recall it is a long way from Bolivia to Bahia! My monograph now lives at the local library and it will take me a while to exclude Bahia. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification: Dutch Vandervort (2012-02-01) =Tillandsia feichenbacchii
- FCBS gives Brasil as habitat for
t. reichenbachii. That's good enough for me! (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Identification: Dutch Vandervort (2012-02-01) =Tillandsia feichenbacchii

- much better for Bahia, not "r"eichenbachii (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification: HEL (2012-02-01) =Tillandsia streptocarpa
- typicalepiphyte. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)

- epiphyte? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification (9688): Walter Till (2012-02-01) =Tillandsia streptocarpa
- Note (9688): Uwe (2012-02-13) - What are the differences between T. reichenbachii and T. streptocarpa? This plant - if it is T. streptocarpa - looks like being capable of producing a larger inflorescence than this tiny one. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
