2201 - Woodland (Wild) - 2007-05-21 (Dimension: 2030 x 1550 pixels - Counter: 5547) Trillium luteum Clump 2 Photographer: Richard Vagner Note: Eric has provided a page where Trillium luteum variations can be displayed. I hope this will enable those who are interested to see what can be found when Trillium luteum populations of hundreds of thousands of plants are examined. The pictures I'm posting were all taken during March and April of 2007 in the area around Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Much of the surrounding area has considerable amounts of introduced plants such as the Vinca minor which grows over much of the local area. (Click on the picture to enlarge) |
