- Add Note (12812): Eric Gouda (2016-09-20) - Seems to be close to the Bolivian Puya meziana, but I suppose it is much larger, may be new. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification (12812): Walter Till (2016-09-20) =Puya cf. hutchisonii
- Petal color can be variable in some Puya species (See, e.g., P. aequatorialis), otherwise it fits well this species
