- I was so excited when I saw this! This is Tillandsia elusiva, a species we described last year but from Chiapas. It is close to T. utriculata but their branches are always undivided and the floral bracts are larger or equaling the internodes. We only had reports of this species from a small area in Chiapas and we thought it is critically endangered, but with this the conservation status could change. Great! (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
