Note: Lithophyte. Foliage ample and succulent, plant unlike any stricta. Plant is compact-caulescent, >100mm wide, infl 150mm (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)

- Identification: HEL (2010-11-02) =Tillandsia cf neglecta or hyb.
- Looks alot like T. neglecta which is nearly sympatric with hard, grey T. stricta at Cabo Frio area. (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)

- I agree with Harry. Notice the spreading trichomes at leaf base vs. appressed ones on the lamina, this is quite typical for t. neglecta
