- Add Note (19204): Jerry Raack (2025-02-18) - Probably a new species. I photographed this same Tillandsia at Jeffrey Kent's greenhouses in June, 2018. At that time he told me he found it growing in the Choco region of Columbia. I'm not sure, but Eric Gouda may be working on this species by now, as I believe he also saw it at Jeffrey Kent's greenhouses a couple of years ago. I'll see if I can add a photo of it at Jeffrey's greenhouses. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (19206): Diego Benavides (2025-02-19) - Thanks Jerry, very interesting. I dont have a detail of the flower, but the petals are like deep purple blue
- Add Note (19204): Eric Gouda (2025-02-20) - Hi Diego, Jerry, Yes, I'm working on it. Do you have locality data in Colombia of your plant? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (19204): Diego Benavides (2025-02-20) - Hi Eric! This plant is from Queremal area, Valle del Cauca, close to Choco. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
