- Identification: Eric Gouda (2014-08-06) =Aechmea servitensis
- This is a normal looking A.servitensis. Flowers are not contiguous with each other and primary branches with long stipes, diminishing gradually upward (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Peter Tristram (2014-08-06) - This is just like one I got from Harry years ago. The plant above Guaduas looks more like a mix of servitensis and augustifolia! The flowers are not as lax as in the typical form but still have some separation. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
