1823 - Bromeliads () - 2007-04-26 (Dimension: 1530 x 2050 pixels - Counter: 20252) Billbergia macrocalyx (Uploaded as: Billbergia Identification) Photographer: Richard Martin Note: Hello, this is one of a few remaining Bromeliads in my collection yet to be identified. It has an extreme tubular form growing up to 80cms in height. In groups it tends to prostrate after flowering and uses running rhizomes to spread, the flowers are of very soft shades and short lasting. Any help in ID would be appreciated. I don't think it will pose to much of a problem to the group experts! Thank you in advance. Identification: solved (Click on the picture to enlarge)
