- Add Note: Richard Martin (2012-01-17) - Is this not Billbergia concolor? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Eric Gouda (2012-01-17) - There are some varieties of Billbergia pyramidalis one of them var. concolor, but B.concolor is not a correct name
- Add Note: Richard Martin (2012-01-17) - I see now that concolor is a var. pyramidalis, failed to commect.
- Add Note: Uncle Derek (2012-01-17) - Billbergia pyramidalis var concolor first appeared in Brom Society Bulletin 4: 6. 1954 where ir was described by L B Smith as 'Petals red throughout'. These petals are blue tipped and therefore the name does not apply. In fact I have yet to find a Billbergia pyramidalis with toally red petals! (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
