- Identification: Eric Gouda (2013-04-08) =Guzmania graminifolia
- Add Note: Jeffrey Kent (2013-04-10) - I think this is Guzmania oligantha. The flowers here are spent, but in my recent trip I photographed this species as well with the flowers open. This matches a previous determination of Harry Luther. The altitude is too high for graminifolia as well. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Guillermo Rivera (2013-04-10) - I agree with Jeffrey, i also think it is G. oligantha. The plant has broader leaves than G graminifolia, and the inflorescence is also different
- Identification: Eric Gouda (2013-04-11) =Guzmania oligantha
- It is difficult to say in this stage of flowering, those species looks much similar. Lets change it to G.oligantha for now, the arguments are fair enough. It can be seen in full flower in image #10118
