Guzmania lemeana
(Uploaded as: Guzmania sp?)
Locality: Ecuador - Zamora-Chinchimpe - Along Rio Nangaritza near Miasi. I'd be guessing somewhere between 800-1200m
Photographer: Bruce Dunstan
Note: Harry, Peter Tristram thought it might have some relationship to this cultivated plant. I have grown the seed I collected but they are only 1cm tall.

- Most if not all the highly branched guzmanias seem to be high elevation, 2000-3000 m. HEL (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Add Note (5251): Harry Luther (2010-04-12) - Still dont recognise it unless its that thing Jose Manzanares described in Vidalia a couple of years ago. Dont have my library and files here yet so am forced to rely on my fading memory. HEL
