15319 - Bromeliads (Garden) - 2018-07-04 (Dimension: 2030 x 1550 pixels - Counter: 10414) Tillandsia disticha (Uploaded as: Racinaea species) Locality: Ecuador - Unknown - I purchased this from Gilberto Merino in 2017, and it just came into flower in my greenhouse. I need help identifying it. Leaves are 25 cm long (longest). Inflorescence 15 cm long, with 5 spikes clustered at the end. Each spike is 2.4 to 3.0 cm long and 6 mm wide. Flower bracts are 11 mm long. Petals (visible part) are 8 mm long and 2 mm wide. Any ideas? Large flowers for such a small Racinaea, or is it a Tillandsia?
