- Identification (6366): HEL (2011-02-08) =Tillandsia cf polita
(Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (6366): Walter Till (2011-02-09) - Looks like a hybrid with T. juncea and T. tricolor (melanocrater) involved
- Add Note (6366): Matthias Asmuss (2011-02-10) - best match until now, checking with Fcbs it seems
to be a natural hybrid in Costa Rica, because its name is marked with tricolor x juncea; the
stolons of the pubs form like tricolor; in juncea
the pubs are much closer; by the way, BCR seems to have no entry (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Add Note (6366): Geoff Lawn (2011-02-10) - The BCR generally does not list natural hybrids at all, certainly not under parentage nor where the cultivar is not named in a modern language. Some Latinised cultivar names are listed in the BCR purely as a reference link to the Natural Hybrids Database .. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
