- I had IDed it ass V.o. also but it really didnt fit either var; also far distant distribution. (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Add Note (5375): IGNACIO MORENO (2010-01-07) - This is the VRIESEA which had been identified as OLMOSIANA some time ago when published at CHARLES DILLS web site, and it is quite different than the VR. gruberi which has variegated wide leaves and yellow inflorescence

- Are we sure about the ID indicated?
I understood that all GRUBERI ID's originated in MR GRUBERI findings, but I have never seen this one in his medium hight nursery in Colombia, as this species is a HIGH ALTITUDE one (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Identification (5375): HEL (2011-01-17) =Vriesea gruberi
