Note: This comes close to O.alvimii, but the leaves are glabrous on both sides and the flowers are smaller in all parts and inflorescence is not lax in this specimen.

- Orthophytum erigens. When this species is grown under intermediate conditions its habit turns a bit soft and lax. Grown in full sun it fits qute well the O. erigens description. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
