- Note (11711): Uwe (2014-08-02) - I think of Guzmania ... (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (11711): Matthias Asmuss (2014-08-02) - the base of the leaves and the leaves tell us it is a Pitcairnia. the form of the inflorescence resembles a P. altensteinii but this one is supposed to be endemic to Venezuela (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (11714): Eric Gouda (2014-08-04) - Nice species! Very weird flower color for Pitcairnia, that is why I think it is more close to P.hitchcockiana. Hope you got material (seeds). (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
