- Identification: Walter Till (2015-03-12) =Racinaea cf. plicatifolia
- Lokks more like this species despite of the not undulated leaf margins and the simple inflorescence
- Identification: Eric Gouda (2015-03-12) =Racinaea undulifolia
- Tillandsia plicatifolia Ule is considered a synonym Racinaea undulifolia (Mez) H. Luther (see Enc.Brom.), not to Racinaea crispa (Baker) L.B.Sm. & Spencer (See Smith & Downs 1977), it has a narrow elongated bulbous rosette and compound inflorescence (iso F). Racinaea undulifolia is highly variable, but it is difficult to distinguish varieties at the moment, except the wine red form. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
