- Note (1785): Eric Gouda (2009-02-17) - Yes, this is Tillandsia lucida and up till now known from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras, so new for Nicaragua (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)

- Note (1785): Joachim Saul (2009-02-18) - Hi Eric, Do you get "Die Bromelie"? In issue 3/2006 I had an article with pictures of my trip to Nicaragua including a picture of huge T.lucida being sold along the road to Jinotega. There the species is locally abundant. What a sight to see them in flower high up in the trees. Much better than seing them on sale!
