- Note: Derek Butcher (2010-03-04) - Interesting that the taxonomists always seem to think species but if your plant had come from the USA I would have said hybrid! T aeranthos is a bag of worms because to my mind much natural hybridising is occurring. Rio Grande do Sul State is the place to go. Teresia Strehl named several forms of T aeranthos but alas she is no longer with us. I know that she left many forms unresolved. Are they forms of T. aeranthos or T. tenuifolia?
