Tillandsia tenuifolia var alba ?
Locality: Venezuela - Miranda - Caracas
Photographer: Matthias Asmuss

seems to be something new

- Identification (5612): HEL (2010-04-19) =Tillandsia stricta more likely.
(Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Note (5612): Matthias Asmuss (2010-05-24) - until now Ti stricta has just been reported in some states far away from this place; could it be
a natural hybrid between juncea and tenuifolia ?
by the way, the Ti tenuifolia var alba or so exists;
I just have to find the photo; I found it
close to the place of this Tillandsia here (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl) - Note (5612): Eric Gouda (2010-05-25) - If still flowering, check the adaxial (toward the axis) sepals, are these highly connate? Then it is T.tenuifolia, if all sepals equally for 2-4 mm connate T.stricta (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
