- Identification: Matthias Asmuss (2011-07-01) =Tillandsia frank-hasei
- looks similar to Tillandsia frank-hasei although it is not known from Ecuador (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification: Walter Till (2011-07-04) =Vriesea cf. cereicola
- More likely is V. cereicola known from adjacent Peru. Again, now treated as Tillandsia
- Note (6654): Peter Tristram (2011-07-19) - Also looks like pre-floral barclayana. Flowers would tell!
Walter, Vr cereicola has always troubled me. Has anyone got verifiable images of this species? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Identification (6654): Eric Gouda (2017-02-21) =Tillandsia barclayana
- It is a little bitt difficult to see because you do not see the front of the spike and the image is not large enough to see the details, but I think it is Tillandsia barclayana. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
