- Note: Bill Holliday (2011-07-11) - What an amazing inflorescence! What does the plant itself look like? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification: Eric Gouda (2011-07-11) =Tillandsia lymanii
- Check with Tillandsia lymanii Rauh (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note: Walter Till (2011-07-12) - Much too large for T. lymanii and spikes much more flattened
- Note (6685): Atsushi Sato (2011-07-17) - It's inflorescence resembles that of T.ferreyrae but color of corolla seems different. Did you collect seed?
- Identification (6685): Guillermo Rivera (2011-07-17) =not T. ferreyrae
- I disagree for both T. lymanii and T. ferreyrae. T. ferreyrae I am quite familar after seeing it in Peru on several ocasions. Inflorescence is very different, location is only known to Peru and has never been reported to Ecuador. So i guess still looking for proper Id (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
