- Identification: Walter Till (2012-02-28) =Tillandsia calothyrsus
- Note: Matthias Asmuss (2012-02-28) - concerned about reproduction, reading the description of this bromeliad I did not find a hint whether Ti calothyrsus is monocarpic or not. Who knows ? (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note: HEL (2012-02-29) - 30 years ago I flowered this from Sue Gardner. No offsets. Perhaps to sensitive to Fla. heat. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note: Bill Holliday (2012-02-29) - I have seen the form that turns bright red during flowering in Oaxaca. On the assumption that the population of plants I saw was indeed T. calothyrsus, they definitely produced pups after flowering. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
