Werauhia pectinata
Locality: Australia - NSW -
Photographer: Peter Tristram
Note: Plant obtained at DBG conference 2009 as Vriesea pectinata but could be Wer. pectinata. Well over 2 m tall. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
Identification: asked
(Click on the picture to enlarge)
- Note (10550): Walter Till (2012-11-23) - Look at the stigma for cupulate stigma type to confirm Werauhia. Hovever, Flower bracts seem to be too short for pectinata albeit this is difficult to judge from an image only.
- Note (10556): Peter Tristram (2012-11-23) - fb and sepals- 35 mm reducing to 25 mm
- Note (10550): Peter Tristram (2012-11-24) - sepals and fb equal until they separate, as can be seen in the pic
- Note (10556): Eric Gouda (2012-11-26) - Is this really cupulate stigma type? I just see 3 some what broadened stigma lobes (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Note (10556): Walter Till (2012-11-26) - Looks like cupulate
