Note: Plant ex K. Knize. Harry thought it might be Br. epiphytica. This is the 2nd flowering now. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)

- Note: Peter Tristram (2012-11-25) - The leaves are about 4 m long with reverse spines.
- Identification: Walter Till (2012-11-26) =Bromelia epiphytica
- Inflorescence should be densely brown lepidote. The sepals of the imaged plant seem to be glabrous or pale lepidote at most. However, the inflorescence is like in the type!
