- Opmerking: Uncle Derek (2014-10-05) - Alarm bells are ringing. Do we know where Brian Chan's plant came from? We know that John Arden has 'played' with T. secunda in the past. Is it a coincidence that two unknown large Tillandsias are flowering at the same time in California? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking: Bryan Chan (2014-10-05) - This plant looks very similar to the one I own. As far as my plant is concerned I forgot to mention that at a younger age it had several pups that were growing on fairly long stolons which I believe would move the plant away from T. secunda. - Determinatie: Walter Till (2014-10-06) =Tillandsia krukoffiana
- Opmerking (11804): Eric Gouda (2014-10-08) - I agree with Walter, with the note that the flower parts are distinctly shorter than that in the descriptions of both varieties. Floral bracts 19x10 mm (vs. 25 and 28 mm), sepals 15x5-6 mm (vs. 19 and 27 mm)
